This way, the developers could focus on ensuring that all versions of the game lived up to expectations. The original plan was for all versions of Hogwarts Legacy to release on the same day, but then the decision was made to delay the PS4, Switch, and Xbox One versions of the open world Harry Potter game. Hogwarts Legacy reviews have been largely positive, with the game available to play now in early access and enjoying its full release on PC and next-gen platforms beginning February 10.

Hogwarts Legacy is enjoying a great deal of praise when it comes to the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X versions of the game, but the upcoming PS4, Switch, and Xbox One versions may struggle due to outdated hardware.
